Arr, ye scurvy landlubber! If ye be cravin' an M3 MacBook, ye be waitin' 'til next year, so says the latest tale!

Arrr! Avast ye, mateys! Aye, Apple's fancy new laptops be takin' a wee bit more time to set sail. But lo and behold, there be some scallywags who dare to disagree!
Arrr, mateys! If ye be eagerly awaitin' one o' the best MacBooks to set sail with Apple's super-efficient M3 chips, I be havin' some disappointin' news for ye: they might not be released until next year. Aye, that be a big change from previous rumors, which suggested we could spy the new laptops emerge any day now.The idea be comin' from news outlet DigiTimes, which published a report blabberin' about predictions for the next five years of laptop shipments. According to DigiTimes, Apple be plannin' to have a significant decline in shipments this year because they be holdin' off on launchin' any new laptops until 2024.
That be goin' against what we've heard from some well-established leakers and analysts, but DigiTimes be not the only one muddying these waters – and if it be true, it'll be tough readin' for Mac fans cravin' an upgrade.
Right now, Apple be in the process of launchin' a new wave o' chips made with a 3nm process by TSMC. This process be expected to bring improved performance and efficiency compared to the current 5nm M2 chips in the MacBooks we have now.
If Apple be delayin' the launch of MacBooks with the new M3 chips, it be a real shame. While the M2 be still a fine chip, it be not the seismic leap over the M1 that some scallywags had expected. But if the M3 lives up to expectations, it could bring a new level of performance to Apple's portable Macs.
Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman had previously claimed that Apple be launchin' new Macs with M3 chips in October this year, with the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 13-inch MacBook Air, and 24-inch iMac bein' the likely candidates. MacRumors also be believin' a new Mac be imminent. However, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo be contestin' that, sayin' no new MacBooks will set sail before 2024. That leaves the door open for the iMac, but not much else.
Now, though, DigiTimes be throwin' a bucket o' cold water on our hopes. We be not expectin' an Apple event this October, so the company would likely launch any M3 Macs through press releases. Right now, the waters be muddied considerably – but if ye be waitin' to upgrade, ye may need to hold tight for a little longer, me hearties.
