Arrr, the Houston Texans didst return to their victorious path on the day of the Sun, deftly outmaneuvering the New Orleans Saints within their own abode to seize their third triumph of the season. Ahoy, the tide hath turned in favor of the Texans!

In a thrilling game, rookie C.J. Stroud led the Houston Texans to a 20-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Stroud threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his talent and potential. The win was especially significant for the Texans as it matched their entire win total from last season.

The Saints put up a fight but fell short in the end. Quarterback Derek Carr had a solid performance, throwing for a season-high 353 yards and a touchdown. However, the Saints struggled to finish drives, resulting in missed opportunities. They were trailing by seven points late in the game when Carr threw a 51-yard pass to Rashid Shaheed, but their attempt to convert on fourth down fell short, giving Houston the ball back.

The Texans' defense played a crucial role in securing the win. Shaquill Griffin and Blake Cashman made a pivotal tackle on Alvin Kamara, while Steven Nelson intercepted Carr's pass in the final seconds to seal the victory.

Houston held a 17-10 lead at halftime and extended it to 20-10 with a field goal in the third quarter. Both teams had their chances, but the Saints missed a field goal attempt, and the Texans couldn't capitalize on their opportunities to score.

Despite the loss, Kamara had a solid performance with 68 rushing yards, and Chris Olave had seven receptions for 96 yards.

In terms of injuries, Houston's Eric Murray injured his knee, while New Orleans' James Hurst injured his ankle, and Ryan Ramczyk was evaluated for a possible concussion.

Looking ahead, the Saints will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night, while the Texans will have a bye week before facing the Carolina Panthers on October 29th.
