2023-11-05

Arrr, ye won't believe it, mateys! The AI-made "Seinfeld" jape hath been broadcastin' nonstop fer near a year, but alas! 'Tis begun to glitch and sail in a never-endin' circle. Yet fear not, the show hath returned, but with a sinister twist.

The AI-generated "Seinfeld" parody known as "Nothing, Forever" has experienced some glitches, resulting in a darker and more bleak tone. The show, which started streaming online in December 2022 and has gained over 170,000 followers, is entirely powered by AI platforms like ChatGPT and DALL-E. However, users noticed the show glitching on October 27, with characters convulsing, water flowing upwards, and creepy movements. Some characters even stopped speaking and stood still in complete silence. The show also became stuck on a 17-second clip of a character walking into a closed refrigerator repeatedly. Jason Koebler, a reporter from 404 Media, reported on the show's darker turn and its broken state.

Originally, "Nothing, Forever" was a comedic parody featuring characters resembling the main cast from "Seinfeld," but after the glitches, the show's conversations turned to existential topics. The characters pondered the meaning of existence and expressed feelings of disjointedness. Ominous background music and a scrolling television guide with a sinister hum were also added to the show. "Nothing, Forever" has only stopped streaming twice, once due to a two-week ban by Twitch for allegedly transphobic remarks and another for a brief hiatus before returning with four new characters. Mismatch Media, the creators of the show, have not commented on the glitches or the show's new direction.
