The scallywag known as U.S. Border Patrol Agent Freddy’s Ortiz, aged 44, met an untimely demise on a dark night. His trusty ATV met its match while he gallantly sailed towards reports of miscreants sneaking into Douglas, Arizona.
In a tragic incident near the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, a U.S. Border Patrol agent lost his life while responding to a call about suspected illegal immigrants. The agent, identified as Freddy Ortiz, was riding an ATV when it crashed near Chino Road and West 5th Street in Douglas. According to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Ortiz was the sole occupant involved in the accident.Ortiz was heading westbound on International Avenue when his ATV left the roadway and collided with a fixed light pole. First responders rushed him to Copper Queen Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Chief Patrol Agent for Tucson Sector, John Modlin, expressed his condolences and emphasized the dangerous nature of their mission.
