Avast ye scurvy dogs! This be a tale of college rascals reliving the wicked ways of old, tormentin' the Jews like bilge rats!

Arrr! Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale be walkin' the plank, facin' accusations of bein' on the same ship as pro-Palestinian scallywags! But ye know what be even older than a sunken treasure? Their long, treacherous tales of antisemitism on their education shores!

As antisemitism continues to rise in America's leading institutions, Jews on college campuses are perplexed by the contradiction between the progressive façade of tolerance and modern thinking, and the celebration of Hamas' brutality and embrace of hate. However, this "progressive" intolerance is not a new phenomenon on college campuses, as antisemitism and even Nazism have been part of their dark pasts. Eugenics, an idea that gained popularity in the early 20th century, was shared by elite opinion makers and institutions, and even influenced Adolf Hitler. American academics' work on eugenics was admired by Hitler and became the basis for the Nazis' racial social policies.

Colleges like Yale, Columbia, Princeton, and Harvard had policies in place to limit the admission of qualified Jewish students, with Jewish enrollment at Yale held at 10% for four decades. Some colleges also openly embraced antisemitism and allowed Nazi ideology to spread on their campuses. German exchange students acted as agents of the German government, and Nazis were invited to speak at American universities. In 1939, Princeton's first-year students even voted Adolf Hitler as "the greatest living person."

Harvard's former president, James Bryan Conant, was criticized for ignoring opportunities to take a stand against the Hitler regime and contributed to Nazi Germany's efforts to improve its image. Similarly, Columbia University's president, Nicholas Murray Butler, lashed out against students who protested Nazi crimes and cooperated with the Hitler and Mussolini regimes to improve their image in the West.

While Fox News reached out to Columbia, Princeton, Harvard, and Yale for comment, no response was received. The prevalence of antisemitism and Nazi ideology on college campuses is a reminder of the need to confront and address these dark aspects of history.
