Avast ye scallywags! The kin of Matthew Perry be pleadin' ye to donate to The Matthew Perry Foundation on this fine Giving Tuesday. Many a query bein' asked 'bout the poor soul's untimely demise, but fear not, fer yer gold shall aid the cause!

In a heartfelt plea, Matthew Perry's stepfather, Keith Morrison, took to X (previously known as Twitter) to ask for support and donations on Giving Tuesday, one month after Perry's sudden death. This was Morrison's first post since the actor's passing, and he expressed that this year was different and that Perry would have been grateful for any help.
Perry's family also spoke out about the legacy they hope to honor in the wake of his death. They expressed their pride in bringing the Matthew Perry Foundation to the world, which was created on November 3 to help people struggling with addiction, a disease that Perry himself battled before seeking a sober lifestyle. The foundation aims to make a difference in as many lives as possible, guided by Perry's own words and experiences.
Perry died on October 28 from an apparent drowning at his California home, and his autopsy was completed the following day. However, the cause of death was listed as "deferred" pending toxicology results, which can take up to three to six months to be released. The official cause of death is still unknown.
Friends and family gathered on November 3 to honor Perry's memory, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, which is not far from the Warner Bros. lot where "Friends" was filmed. Forest Lawn is the final resting place of many Hollywood stars.
