Avast ye scallywags! A sorry bunch o' progressive landlubbers be mighty miffed at that Vermont scallywag, a true symbol of their rabble, for not raisin' a hue and cry for a halt to the cannons in Gaza.
Now, ye might be wonderin' why these activists be so miffed at Sanders. Well, ye see, in their eyes, he be neglectin' his duty as a champion of their cause. They be hopin' he'd shout from the crow's nest, demandin' an end to the cannon barrages and cutlass clangin' in that troubled land.
But ol' Bernie, he be a shrewd sailor, arguin' that he be focused on matters closer to home. He be settin' his sights on the plunderin' of the rich, the battles against inequality, and the scurvy-infested healthcare system. These be the battles he be fightin' on his own ship, the good ship America, and he be claimin' he can't be distracted by every skirmish in distant seas.
Yet, the discontented activists be raisin' their voices, shoutin' that Sanders be abandonin' his fellow revolutionaries. They be demandin' he raise the Jolly Roger and join the chorus of calls for a truce, to bring peace to the land of sand and scallywags.
But ol' Bernie, he be holdin' his ground, arguin' that he be a captain of a different vessel, navigatin' the treacherous political waters. He be claimin' that he can best serve his cause by focusin' on the battles he knows best, leavin' the pirate politics of the Middle East to others.
And so, the tale goes on, with these progressive activists feelin' a sense of betrayal by their beloved Sanders. Yet, whether ye be agreein' with the disappointed landlubbers or standin' by Bernie's side, one thing be clear - the waters of politics be as unpredictable as the seven seas, and even the most revered captain can find himself facin' the wrath of his own crew.
