Arr! Alan Ruck be facin' a lawsuit fer his recklessness! Word be spreadin' that he be crashin' his vessel into another, causin' it to sail wildly into a crossroads. Aye, he be in dire straits, me hearties!
A lawsuit has been filed against actor Alan Ruck, known for his role in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," following a vehicle collision in October. Horacio Vela, the plaintiff in the case, claims to have suffered severe injuries and damages when Ruck's vehicle struck his own car while he was waiting at a red light. According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Ruck's insurance company, State Farm, has refused to take responsibility for the crash, and their adjuster has been unresponsive despite attempts to reach a settlement. Ruck has stated that he does not know what happened, while the police and the manufacturer of Vela's car claim it was a vehicle issue. Neama Rahmani, president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, representing Vela, believes that Ruck is responsible for the damages and has filed a lawsuit to subpoena evidence and witnesses. If State Farm accepts fault, they are open to negotiating a settlement, but based on their experience, they expect little to no offer. Representatives for Ruck and State Farm have not yet responded to requests for comment. Vela's lawyer warns against getting insurance through State Farm, claiming a higher likelihood of being sued. The lawsuit alleges that Ruck unexpectedly rammed Vela's car and then abruptly accelerated, causing a collision with another vehicle. Authorities and medical personnel responded to the scene, and Vela was transported to Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Ruck's vehicle collided with another car and the wall of a pizza shop before becoming lodged in the wall. The LAPD has confirmed details of the collision.
