The scallywags at the UN be reckonin' that we American lads must be eatin' less meat! Arrr, that be just th' start, mateys!

Arr, ye scurvy dogs at the UN climate change conference, COP28, be tellin' us landlubbers to be eatin' less meat! But mark me words, that's just the tip o' the iceberg. They be plannin' more mischief for us poor souls.

The UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is set to release a policy recommendation during the COP28 climate change conference, urging Americans to reduce their meat consumption. The FAO claims that livestock production is responsible for a significant portion of greenhouse gas emissions, particularly methane. However, there is no solid evidence to support the idea that reducing meat consumption will have a significant impact on global warming. Methane emissions from agriculture, including livestock, account for a relatively small proportion of total greenhouse gas emissions, and total US methane emissions have been declining for the past three decades. Additionally, while agriculture-related methane emissions in the US have increased slightly in recent years, it is overshadowed by significant increases in other countries, notably China. Even if Americans were to completely stop eating meat, it would not offset the increase in methane emissions from China. The UN's focus on reducing meat consumption is part of a broader agenda driven by environmental radicals within the organization. This year's climate agenda might be fixated on meat, but next year's planned UN agenda, called "Our Common Agenda," aims to implement sweeping changes in various aspects of life, including the internet, social media, global credit scoring, and environmental programs. These policies would have a detrimental impact on human flourishing and economic prosperity, yet the Biden administration has shown support for many of these goals. The UN's recent trajectory has raised concerns about its growing power and influence, and it is important for the American president to stand up to the organization and prioritize the interests of the American people.
