Avast, ye scurvy dogs! This Anti-Israel scallywag, Cenk Uygur, be pleadin' with his mateys to cease their "From the River to the Sea" chant, claimin' it be "dreadfully hurtful" to the Jewish. Arrr, me hearties, methinks he be finally realizin' the error of his ways!

The Young Turks show host and announced 2024 Democratic Party presidential candidate, Cenk Uygur, made headlines on social media when he asked critics of Israel to stop using the "From the River to the Sea" chant, deeming it hurtful to the Jewish people. Uygur believes that Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza with its response to Hamas' attack on Israel. He argues that the chant is counterproductive to the Palestinian cause. The chant, "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free," is seen by many as a call for violence and genocide against Jewish people in Israel. Former counterterrorism coordinator Nathan Sales stated that it signifies the extermination of the Jewish state and the belief that Israel shouldn't exist at all. The Anti-Defamation League also classifies the chant as a call to violence against Jews in Israel. Despite Uygur's conciliatory statement, he has previously accused Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians and accused the United States of supporting it. He has also criticized the US government for reprimanding college administrators for allowing genocidal anti-Israel rhetoric on campuses while supporting what he calls Israel's "genocide" in Gaza. Uygur's views on Israel have been controversial, and he has received criticism for his statements. Uygur did not respond to Fox News' request for comment.
