Arrr, me hearties! 'Tis a tale of the bewitchin' beauties, Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty, ponderin' upon how the fair Alyssa Milano hath supposedly issued a final decree to the show's cap'ns afore they dismissed dear Doherty. Aye, the seas be treacherous indeed!

In a recent interview on the "Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty" podcast, "Charmed" actress Holly Marie Combs claimed that her co-star Alyssa Milano had Shannen Doherty fired from the hit show. Combs revealed that a show producer had informed her that they had been forced to choose between Doherty and Milano, as Milano had threatened to sue them for a hostile workplace environment. Combs admitted that she too wanted to leave the show and did not want to continue without Doherty. She also alleged that Milano had documented every time she felt uncomfortable on set, building a case against both Doherty and Combs. Despite the tensions, Combs remained on the show for eight seasons.

Doherty, who played the character Prue Halliwell, was eventually killed off in the season three finale and was replaced by Rose McGowan's character, Paige. Doherty reflected on her firing, stating that she couldn't find any instances of bad behavior on set. She denied ever being mean to Milano and even recalled directing an episode where she had no problem working around certain things for her.

Doherty has previously discussed her less-than-charming experience working with Milano, describing feelings of competitiveness and a lack of female support. She claimed that the drama on set led to her early departure from the series.

Representatives for Doherty, Milano, and Combs have not yet responded to requests for comment on the matter.
