Aye, 'twas a fierce battle that lasted for a full 12 hours.

But this ain't the first time the Navy be takin' on them Houthi rascals. Since Oct. 17, they've brought down nearly 100 of them drones and have been protectin' the international vessels that sail these treacherous waters. Them Houthi lads be causin' all sorts of trouble for global shipping, ya see.

Meanwhile, the Swiss-based Mediterranean Shipping Co. suffered an attack on one of its container ships, the MSC United VIII, while travellin' from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. Luckily, no harm came to the crew, but the company be reroutin' its ships away from the Red Sea, takin' the long way 'round Africa and the Cape of Good Hope. Aye, it be addin' costs and delays, but safety be the top priority, me hearties!

This skirmish in the Red Sea be followin' an attack on U.S. service members in Iraq by Iranian proxy terrorists. In response, the U.S. forces be launchin' airstrikes on three of their facilities. The fight against these scurvy dogs be continuin', me mateys!
