Avast ye all! 'Tis told that Raul Meza Jr., a scoundrel convicted of garrotting and defiling a wee lass, be suspected of havin' a hand in no less than 10 murders, as declared by the constables.

Suspected serial killer Raul Meza Jr. made a call to the police and brazenly stated, "I think you are looking for me," before his arrest for multiple murders. Currently held in a Texas jail, Meza is accused of strangling Gloria Lofton in 2019 and the capital murder of former probation officer Jesse Fraga in 2023. Law enforcement is still investigating Meza's alleged killing spree, which may include up to 10 other homicides. Former Austin Police Sgt. Bruce Mills expressed frustration, stating that justice was not served in this case. A search warrant has been issued for Meza's Google account from November 2016 to May 2023, as investigators believe it contains information linking him to a 2018 Austin cold case and at least two homicides in San Antonio. Meza's criminal history dates back to 1982 when he sexually assaulted and strangled an 8-year-old girl. After serving time and violating parole, he was released in 2002 but committed additional sexual assaults. There is speculation that Meza may be connected to the unsolved homicide of college student Nicole Coleman, whose body was found in 2018 in Austin with signs of trauma. The victim's family expressed concern that her killer may still be at large. Nicole was a talented student with a bright future as a writer and poet. The city of Austin has been haunted by her unsolved case for years.
