President Joe Biden is known for his use of buzzwords and slick phrases, which may appeal to some voters. However, many of these phrases, such as "irregular migration," are simply nonsensical and are used to explain away his disastrous border security record. Despite this, the mainstream media and Biden's supporters treat these phrases as if they come from some kind of holy script.To consider "irregular migration" a credible phrase to explain the border disaster under Biden's administration, three things would have to have happened: major changes in the countries people are leaving, people migrating to countries other than the US, and no major border security policy changes. However, crime, poverty, and political instability have remained relatively unchanged since the previous administrations of Donald Trump and Barack Obama.
The main reasons for migration to the US are the perceived free social benefits and job opportunities. Biden reversed many of Trump's border security policies, including catch-and-release, which serves as a reward for illegal border crossers. The cartels take advantage of this reward system and advertise their services worldwide, often providing fake travel documents to mask the identities of those crossing the border.
Border security is a political problem for the Biden administration, and they seem to want an out-of-control border. If Biden were to win a second term, the border situation would likely worsen, and the cartels would have even more control. Mexico, on the other hand, has proven to be a good border security partner when faced with economic sanctions, which Biden does not have the desire to impose.
If Biden is reelected in 2024, the cartels will be unleashed, and Americans will continue to pay the deadly price. It is time for Biden to retire and enjoy his ice cream.
