Arrr, me hearties! Gordon Ramsay be claimin' Tomato the bulldog be his most fearsome matey at the grand launch of his latest tavern, the Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill, on the sun-kissed shores o' China. Aye, that be some canine mettle, landlubbers!
Gordon Ramsay had a challenging time trying to get his "toughest guest" to behave while opening his new restaurant. The celebrity chef, known for his fiery personality, opened a pub and grill in South China and was accompanied by Tomato the bulldog. Ramsay shared a video on his Instagram story of him attempting to get Tomato to sit, with the dog stubbornly refusing. Eventually, the bulldog gave in and sat, looking up at Ramsay.Ramsay, who hosts "Kitchen Nightmares," documented the multi-day opening of Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill on Instagram, sharing his experience with his 16 million followers. He expressed his gratitude to Tomato for keeping the red carpet clean and mentioned that he stayed in David Beckham's suite, where the former soccer star left him a note jokingly apologizing for staring at him on the toilet.
When he's not cooking, Ramsay enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. In November, he and his wife Tana welcomed their sixth child, Jesse James, making Ramsay the "oldest dad" at school drop-off. Ramsay described becoming a dad again as "extraordinary" and joked about keeping his cap and glasses on to hide his age.
Both Ramsay and Tana come from large families, so having six children feels natural to them. Ramsay proudly shared that their older children have accomplished impressive things, such as Jack serving as a Royal Marine commando and Megan working as a police officer. Holly has pursued a career in fashion, and Tilly is studying at university for her degree. Ramsay and Tana did not have degrees themselves, but they take pride in their children's achievements.
