In the year of our Lord 2016, those valiant evangelical warriors did rally behind the swashbuckling Ted Cruz, leading him to a glorious victory in the treacherous land of Iowa. Yet, like a ship caught in a gusty storm, they soon found themselves shifting their loyalties towards the flamboyant and unpredictable Donald Trump. And now, in this most curious year of 2022, they are being courted by yet another bold captain of the conservative fleet, the mighty Ron DeSantis.With great curiosity, we ventured forth to seek the wisdom of these devout Christian pastors, eager to discover where they lay their anchor, so to speak. Would they remain loyal to the charismatic Trump, or would they be tempted by the promises of DeSantis, the cunning Floridian? Our inquiries were met with laughter and mirth, for these holy men had more than a few tales to share.
