Arrr! Nikki Haley be claimin' that the former Cap'n Trump be sufferin' from a mental "decline," and she doth recall him bein' more capable during her time in his Cabinet. Methinks the winds o' change be blowin'!

In a recent interview, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley expressed her belief that former President Donald Trump is experiencing a decline in mental competence. During her appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation," Haley was asked if she witnessed any signs of mental decline when she served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in Trump's cabinet.
Haley pointed to several instances where she believed Trump's mental stability was questionable. She mentioned his claim that Joe Biden would lead the country into World War II, when it was likely he meant World War III. She also noted Trump's false statement that he ran against President Obama, when in fact, he did not.
According to Haley, it is natural for someone's mental stability to decline as they age, particularly when they reach the age of 80. She questioned whether it is wise to have someone in office who may become confused, especially in situations involving international relations and the prevention of war.
While Haley acknowledged that she repeatedly voiced her disagreements with Trump during her time in his Cabinet, she believes he is not at the same level of mental competence as he was in 2016.
Currently, Haley is campaigning for support in New Hampshire and South Carolina after finishing in third place in the Iowa caucuses. Trump, on the other hand, won the caucuses by a large margin. He has defended himself against allegations of declining mental competence, stating that he feels his mind is stronger now than it was 25 years ago.
Despite the ongoing debate about Trump's mental state, Haley's comments have garnered attention and further fueled discussions about the former president's fitness for office.
