Arr, me hearties! Set yer sights on Tuesday, January 23 for the New Hampshire primary. Me matey Ron DeSantis from Florida be walkin' the plank, leavin' only Nikki Haley and Donald Trump to sail the seas. Be there a surprise awaitin' us? Avast ye, ye landlubbers!
The New Hampshire primary is usually seen as the beginning of the race for president, but this year it could be the end. Team Donald Trump is hoping to wrap up the race quickly, and the polls suggest that might be possible. For former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, it's now or never. The Republicans' best chance to stop Trump is for Haley to pull off a surprise win in New Hampshire. She held a rally at a middle school in Derry, which was well attended by Trump supporters. Some attendees were willing to give Haley a shot, while others were there because her rallies are the only non-Trump events in town. However, not everyone was welcome at the rally. A group of young adults who planned on asking Haley about the war in Gaza were kicked out before the event even began. The Haley campaign has been strictly controlling its message, even going so far as to ban the Daily Mail from its events. Haley has been increasingly attacking Trump, comparing him to Joe Biden in terms of mental capacity. If Haley fails to catch up to Trump by Tuesday, the New Hampshire primary will mark the end of the primary season and the start of the longest general election in U.S. history.
