Arrr! Saudi Arabia's finest matey be refusin' to sail with Israel, aye! The scallywag Prime Minister be blabberin' 'gainst havin' two states while a war be brewin' in Gaza! No normal relations be had, says the diplomat! Yo ho ho!

Saudi Arabia has announced that it will not normalize relations with Israel unless there is a clear path to a Palestinian state, a condition that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected. Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, stated in an interview with CNN that a Palestinian state is necessary to end the cycle of violence. He made it clear that without a credible and irreversible path to a Palestinian state, there will be no normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
Before the recent Hamas attack, the U.S. was trying to broker a deal in which Saudi Arabia would normalize relations with Israel in exchange for security guarantees and progress in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, Netanyahu has stated that he will never allow a Palestinian state and seeks open-ended military control over Gaza. The conflict in Gaza has led to a high death toll, with thousands of civilians killed and wounded.
European Union foreign ministers also gathered to discuss the war in Gaza and expressed support for the creation of a Palestinian state as the only credible way to achieve peace in the Middle East. The issue of Gaza's future has caused a rift between Israel and its Arab allies, as they work to mediate an end to the fighting.
Netanyahu has vowed to continue the offensive until there is "complete victory" over Hamas and the remaining hostages are returned. Hamas, on the other hand, has stated that it will only release more captives in exchange for an end to the war and the release of Palestinian prisoners.
The situation remains tense and the prospects for peace and normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel seem unlikely without progress towards a Palestinian state.
