Avast ye mateys! This here Democratic scallywag be claimin' it be high time to finish the task and safeguard our southern frontier!

Avast, ye scurvy Congress! Fer a good while, ye've been a bunch o' landlubberly scallywags, kickin' that can o' securin' our southern border down yonder road. Some o' ye even be refusin' to fund it! 'Tis high time we cease this tomfoolery, quit kickin' and start fulfillin' our duty, ye bilge rats!
When it comes to work, we Montanans don't sit around and wait for someone else to do it for us. We have a mentality of getting things done by rolling up our sleeves and putting in the effort. This mentality is shared by small business owners, farmers, ranchers, and hardworking individuals across our state. It's the kind of mentality that Congress and President Biden need to bring to the table to secure our border. The situation at our southern border is a serious problem that affects our national security. Allowing people to enter the country without proper vetting or going through a legal process undermines our safety. Drug cartels are taking advantage of these gaps in our border security to traffic drugs and people, and it needs to stop.
Congress has been dragging its feet on securing our southern border for too long. Some have even refused to fund it. It's time to stop kicking the can down the road and actually get the job done.
The impact of the border crisis is felt by Montana families, local governments, and our national security. That's why I've been urging Senate leaders to prioritize a solution to this crisis. The lack of urgency from my colleagues on both sides of the aisle is disturbing.
During my visit to the southern border, I spoke with Border Patrol agents who expressed the need for additional manpower and resources. That's why I've introduced bipartisan legislation like the FEND Off Fentanyl Act and the ANTI Drugs Act. These bills provide law enforcement with the tools and funds they need to tackle the crisis. Unfortunately, some politicians prefer to score cheap political points rather than actually address the issue.
It's time for Congress to put aside the political games and use common-sense proposals to secure our border. Protecting our country should not be a partisan issue. Montanans want to know why their elected leaders can't seem to fix the broken system. It's time to stop pointing fingers and start working together to find a solution.
