Avast! In the year 2021, a scurvy teenager hath dispatched four young scholars at his high school in Oxford, Mich. During his mother's trial, the prosecutors be claimin' that his parents had the power to cease his mischief. Arrr, what a tale of woe and folly!

In the year of our Lord 2021, a young scallywag, barely a teenager, committed a most heinous crime at his high school in the grand township of Oxford, Mich. Arr, the lad be having no regard for the sanctity of life, for he took the lives of four innocent students, leaving naught but sorrow and despair in his wake.
When the trial of his dear mother commenced, those who sought justice be claimin' that the lad's own parents, in their infinite wisdom, could have put a stop to his wicked deeds. Ah, the accusers be accusin' them of neglect, of turnin' a blind eye to the signs of the lad's murky path. Aye, the case be strewn with words like "responsibility" and "accountability."
But as I stood witness to this spectacle, I couldn't help but ponder upon the irony of it all. Forsooth, ain't it a curious thing how we be tryin' to blame the parents fer the actions of their offspring? Be it a pirate's code or a law of the land, each soul be responsible for their own choices, their own moral compass. Yarr, we be sailin' murky waters if we be holdin' others accountable for the choices of one.
Yet, the trial continued, and the prosecutors be paintin' a bleak picture of parental neglect. They be seekin' to find fault with the mother, arguin' that she, with her maternal instincts, should have sensed the brewing storm within her child. Ah, the courtroom be filled with gasps and whispers, as the weight of a young lad's actions be placed upon his dear mother's shoulders.
But in this tale of woe, let us not forget the power of the individual. Each of us be bearin' the weight of our own decisions, our own actions. Whilst it may be tempting to cast blame upon another, let us not forget that the sea of life be navigated by our own compass. May we learn from this tale, and remember that the choices we make, be they good or evil, be solely our own.
