A 31-year-old Baltimore woman named Tanay Stallings-Brown has been arrested and charged in connection with a violent crime spree that left six people injured. The Prince George's County Police Department reported that Stallings-Brown committed two stabbings and several hit-and-runs on Thursday before being apprehended by officers. The motive for the attacks is still unclear, as the victims appear to have been chosen at random. Chief Malik Aziz stated that the crimes occurred across three different police divisions in the span of an hour and a half.

The series of incidents began with a hit-and-run at Forest Park Drive and Ritchie Road, where a driver hit a woman on a sidewalk and fled the scene. Shortly after, at 20 Ritchie Road, two individuals were struck by a car, and one of them, a 15-year-old female, was stabbed and suffered life-threatening injuries. Another hit-and-run occurred on Walker Mill Road, where an adult male victim was struck twice by a car. Two more victims were found in different locations, one with minor injuries and the other suffering critical injuries from a stabbing at a gas station in Lanham.

Police were able to connect a dark-colored Chevrolet Malibu to all the crimes and located the car in Baltimore. With the assistance of the Baltimore Police Department, they observed Stallings-Brown entering the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop to arrest her. The car she was driving had significant front-end damage and a smashed windshield. Chief Aziz commended the officers' determination in apprehending the suspect and wished the victims a speedy recovery.

Stallings-Brown is currently in custody and faces numerous charges, including attempted first-degree murder and assault. Police have asked the public for any additional information regarding the case.
