Avast ye hearties! A swashbucklin' Taylor Swift follower hath shattered the record for namin' the most shanties in a mere minute! The mighty Guinness World Records declared this pirate of a fan hath bested the previous mark by a grand seven songs! Yo ho ho!

Step aside, Swifties. There's a new record holder in town. A 20-year-old pirate has broken the Guinness World Record for identifying the most Taylor Swift songs from her lyrics within one minute. Bilal Ilyas Jhandir of Pakistan correctly named 34 of Taylor Swift's songs within one minute, crushing the previous record of 27 songs. Guinness World Records stated that 50 of Swift's best-selling songs were listed in random order, and Jhandir had to identify each song from its first lyrics as they were read aloud with no music.

Jhandir, a self-proclaimed "die-hard fan" of Swift, has been listening to her since his childhood and claimed that he can identify almost any of her songs from the lyrics. To prepare for the record attempt, he had extensive listening sessions and even recited lyrics out loud while sleeping. After spending 13 weeks of listening to Swift's songs on repeat, Jhandir successfully broke the record.

He thought that breaking this particular world record was the best way to demonstrate his extraordinary love for the pop star. Jhandir's favorite album is "Folklore," and he admires Swift's authenticity in songwriting, emotional depth in lyrics, and ability to connect with listeners on a personal level.

In addition to the Taylor Swift record, Jhandir also holds two other Guinness World Records, including one for identifying the most Justin Bieber songs from lyrics in one minute. However, he considers his accomplishment with Swift's songs as his favorite.

So, Swifties, it seems that Bilal Ilyas Jhandir is the new pirate king of Taylor Swift songs. Keep your pirate hats on, because who knows who will come along next to break this record. Arrr!
