Arr, Biden be lackin' a sturdy backbone, not more laws, to seal off th' border!

2024-02-02

Arr, me hearties! Methinks the law o' immigration already grants the cap'n Biden the power to shut th' border. Aye, him, his wise men, and his scurvy crew be well aware o' this fact!

President Biden's claim that he needs the bipartisan immigration bill to gain the authority to shut down the border and end the crisis is simply not true. The existing federal immigration law already gives him the power to close the border, a fact that Biden and his allies are well aware of. The bill is actually a political ploy that supports his open-border policy and funds his unlimited illegal immigration plan. It's like a modern-day Charlie Brown believing that Lucy won't pull the football away when he tries to kick it.

In 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Trump's ability to shut down the border through the so-called "travel ban." Trump acted under existing immigration statutes that give the President the power to suspend the entry of aliens if it is detrimental to the interests of the United States. The Supreme Court refused to question Trump's national security rationale for the travel ban, recognizing the President's authority in making such determinations.

Furthermore, the head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection is authorized to temporarily close any port of entry when necessary to respond to a specific threat to human life or national interests.

The open southern border is a clear national security problem that poses a threat to our national interests. Millions of illegal aliens are overwhelming communities, and criminals and terrorists are freely entering. Former FBI officials have warned Congress about the imminent danger posed by this flood of aliens.

Biden doesn't need the Senate bill to fix the problem. He needs to exercise the willpower to actually shut down the border, accept the help of states like Texas, and take actions to enforce federal immigration law. The country is waiting for him to do the right thing, but its patience has run out.
