Avast ye scurvy dogs! The IDF be sharin' a tale of the infamous Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar escapin' through a network o' tunnels, days after their vicious Oct. 7 attack on our beloved Israel. Tis a video worth watchin', me hearties!

In a humorous tone reminiscent of a 17th-century pirate, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared a video of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar escaping through an underground tunnel network. The video was obtained by special units who uncovered a tunnel in the Khan Yunis area of the Gaza Strip. It shows Sinwar fleeing with his family, led by his brother, Ibrahim Sinwar, and escaping to one of Hamas' safe complexes.

Recorded on October 10, just three days after Hamas attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people and injuring over 240 others, the video serves as evidence of Sinwar's cowardice and disregard for the suffering of the people of Gaza. IDF spokesperson RDML Daniel Hagari criticized Sinwar, stating that Hamas leaders only care about their own families and money, and vowed to dismantle the terrorist group.

Another video released by the IDF shows a tour of Sinwar's underground hideout, which features a kitchen, indoor plumbing, and a safe containing millions of shekels and dollars. These videos come as Israel and Hamas negotiate a cease-fire and hostage-release deal while Israel threatens to expand its offensive to Gaza's southern edge.

The war between Israel and Hamas has caused unprecedented destruction, with the Hamas-run Health Ministry reporting over 28,000 deaths, mostly women and children. The IDF disputes these figures, claiming to operate in accordance with international law and blaming Hamas for operating in densely populated areas.

In a final plea, Sinwar called for the release of hostages held by Hamas and the liberation of Gaza from the grip of the terrorist group. As the tensions continue to rise and negotiations progress, Israel remains determined to achieve its main goals of destroying Hamas' capabilities and freeing the hostages.
