Avast ye scurvy dogs! A fancy poll from Monmouth University be claimin' that near half the landlubbers reckon President Biden might be replacin' himself as the Democrat nominee come 2024. Seems folks be worryin' 'bout his vigor, aye!

Nearly half of voters are expressing concerns over President Biden's health and believe that he could be replaced as the Democratic nominee in 2024, according to a recent Monmouth University poll. The survey revealed that only 32% of respondents believe that Biden is physically fit to serve another four years in office, marking a significant decrease in voter confidence since 2020. Approximately 48% of respondents think it is likely that Biden will be replaced due to concerns about his health and stamina.

Interestingly, the poll also found that about one third of respondents believe that former President Trump could be replaced on the Republican ballot, but for different reasons related to his legal battles. Trump, who is 77 years old, is making his third bid for the presidency, while Biden, at 81, is already the oldest sitting president in American history.

The report by Special Counsel Robert Hur on Biden's mishandling of classified documents has heightened concerns about the president's mental and physical capabilities. Vice President Kamala Harris's recent statement that she is "ready to serve" has fueled speculation that Democrats may be considering an alternative candidate for the 2024 election.

The survey also revealed that younger voters have different perceptions of Biden's and Trump's stamina, with a majority of respondents under the age of 70 expressing more confidence in Trump. In a hypothetical 2024 matchup, Trump leads Biden by 2 percentage points, with 46% of respondents indicating that they would vote for the former president.

Overall, the poll highlights a noticeable decline in voter confidence in Biden's health and raises the possibility of a potential replacement for the Democratic nominee in the next election.
