Arr mateys, the U.S. Supreme Court be mullin' o'er a case that'll decide if former President Trump can be scuttled off Colorado's state primary ballot for his shenanigans in the 2020 election. The decision could drop as soon as Monday, just afore the primary on Tuesday. The Colorado Supreme Court already ruled Trump be not fit to sail as president again, citin' the 14th Amendment to keep him off the ballot.The Supreme Court, never havin' weighed in on this here provision before, will finally make a call on Monday, settlin' the matter before the Super Tuesday contests in 16 states. Both sides be clamorin' for a quick resolution, havin' pleaded their case on Feb. 8. Seems like the justices won't be takin' the bench on Monday, so we'll all have to keep a weather eye on the court's website for the verdict.Meanwhile, the court be also takin' on a case in late April to decide if Trump can be prosecuted for his role in the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. With more than 90 charges hangin' over his head, Trump might be facin' trial afore the November election, startin' with his case in New York on March 25. The judge be eager to see justice done, so it looks like Trump won't be escapin' his fate anytime soon!
