Arrr! Nine souls sent to Davy Jones' locker on Monday in a van crash in an Indigenous land in Quintana Roo, along the Mexican state's Caribbean coast. Aye, a treacherous fate indeed! May they rest in peace, buried with their treasure.
Nine scallywags met their end on Monday in a van crash on a highway in a mostly Indigenous area on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, according to the authorities. The coppers in the coastal state of Quintana Roo blabbed that the van carrying the poor souls collided with a blasted truck. The crash happened early Monday about 75 miles south of the fancy resort of Tulum. The van went up in flames after the collision, leaving six other folks seriously injured, including three young'uns.Vans are the main mode of public transport for the mostly Mayan Indigenous folks in the area. Since the coast is a fair distance away, and the shoreline is mainly mangroves and wetlands, the tourists steer clear of the place. The victims were all locals, as per the officials. As the Caribbean coast gets more crowded with landlubbers and the traffic gets worse, more accidents like this one are happening on the local highways. A sad day for the poor souls lost in this tragic mishap, may they rest in peace.
