Avast ye mateys! As I be readin' about the wokeness at our nation's service academies, two questions from about 250 years past be poppin' into me noggin: "If not now, when? If not us, who?" Arrr, tis a ponderous thought indeed!

In the language of a 17th-century pirate, it was recently announced that the U.S. Military Academy at West Point would remove the "Duty, Honor, Country" motto from its mission statement. Republicans, conservatives, and people of faith rightfully erupted in dismay over this latest move by the famed institution. Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of "Fox & Friends Weekend," observed that West Point announcing they’ve gone full globalist, and many Americans agree with her.Reflecting on the self-awareness and courage of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, questions arise – "If not now, when? If not us, who?"
