Olivia Munn, a 43-year-old actress, was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago and underwent a double mastectomy. After three surgeries and reconstruction, she is learning to accept the "battle wounds" she sees in the mirror. When she attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March with John Mulaney, she had not yet revealed her diagnosis or recovery process.Munn's makeup artist learned to do tattoo-type makeup to help her conceal scars, and growing out her hair also helped. Despite challenges in embracing her changing body, she is grateful for the opportunity to fight and is happy with her appearance. She will soon begin filming a new show with Jon Hamm and feels like a "different version" of herself post-cancer battle.In an Instagram post, Munn revealed that she had a genetic test that checked for 90 different cancer genes, all of which were negative, including BRCA. Despite a normal mammogram, she was diagnosed with Luminal B cancer. Despite the challenges, Munn is kinder to herself and finds it easier to manage each day.
