Arrr, these scallywag 'Big Brother' regulations be plunderin' the privacy o' us business owners! I sailed to Congress to seek their aid in defendin' the 33 million small businesses in the land. May they hear our cries for help and take action!

I beseeched the Congress to halt this 'Big Brother' tyranny that be plunderin' small businesses! Aye, 'tis a scurvy scheme!

Arrr! Me hearties, I be on Capitol Hill on April 30, representin' American small businesses and individual rights. The House Committee on Small Business invited me to be a witness at their hearin' concernin' the Corporate Transparency Act’s Beneficial Ownership Information rule (CTA BOI). This rule be makin' every small business and other entities turn over sensitive information to the Treasury's FinCEN division, includin' photo IDs for owners and decision-makers. The penalties be harsh for non-compliance.The CTA BOI unfairly burdens small businesses while exemptin' larger ones. I brought statements from 450 business owners opposin' this overreach. Senator Tuberville and Rep. Davidson be introducin' the "Repealing Big Brother Overreach Act" to overturn the CTA. The rule infringes on privacy and creates challenges for small business owners.Small businesses be the backbone of the economy, and this rule unfairly targets them. The penalties be severe and expose owners to fraud. Instead of upliftin' small businesses, Congress be treatin' them like criminals. The rule be unconstitutional and should be shut down immediately. FinCEN should use other tools to combat financial crimes without harmin' small businesses.Good intentions don’t always lead to good outcomes, and Congress needs to fix this mess. I beseech ye to work with yer Senate counterparts to overturn the CTA BOI rule and protect American small businesses. Thank ye for listenin', me hearties!
