Arrr matey, Hamas be firin' rockets from Rafah, makin' Tel Aviv scallywags jump outta their britches!

2024-05-26

Avast ye landlubbers! The scurvy dogs of Hamas be firin' their cannons again at poor Israel, sending at least 8 of their cursed rockets from Rafah! 'Tis a dastardly deed indeed, may they be keelhauled for their treachery! Arrr!

In the midst of a fiery battle, Hamas scallywags unleashed a barrage of rockets into Israel on a fine Sunday, with a good dozen of those scoundrels blasted from the hotly contested city of Rafah. But fear not, for Israel's Iron Dome managed to swat away most of those treacherous projectiles, even as alarms rang out in Tel Aviv and other bustling cities. These attacks come at a time when Israeli forces are tightening their grip in and around Rafah, the last redoubt for the Hamas marauders in Gaza.Hamas, not content to sit idly by, claimed responsibility for the onslaught, citing it as revenge for supposed "Zionist massacres against civilians." The landlubbers in Israel, under mounting pressure from abroad, urged the good folk of Rafah to flee the area where they be waging their battles against Hamas, all in an attempt to safeguard the innocent bystanders.Rafah, sitting on the border with Egypt, had been a vital channel for aid to reach the needy souls in Gaza. But with Israel now at the helm of the Gazan side of the border, Egypt has shut the gates tight, refusing entry to further assistance.Despite these hurdles, aid trucks still managed to pass through Israel's Kerem Shalom crossing, although the brave United Nations workers faced obstacles in delivering the much-needed aid due to the fierce skirmishes nearby. Meanwhile, a grand "floating pier" off the Gaza coast, crafted by the U.S., faced some damage in the recent storms but remained mostly seaworthy. As the U.S. poured a hefty sum of $320 million into constructing the pier, which had been a lifeline for aid from various lands, a staggering 569 metric tons of aid had made its way through, but alas, none had reached the hands of the Palestinian brethren just yet.
