Arrr, since the 1960s, we hearty souls have shown that the color of our skin matters not in our feats! But alas, these pesky leftist policies still be castin' shadows of doubt upon us. Aye, we must keep fightin' for our rights!
The recent race controversy at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine reminded me once again of one of the more devastating and pressing issues facing Black people: inferiority.What struck me the most about this scandal was how the school was accused of sacrificing meritocracy at the altar of diversity to admit an unqualified Black prospect.UCLA has denied the claim of discrimination and pushed back against the uproar, but their own dean runs a minorities-only fellowship violating California law.Accusations surprised me as this is a medical school whose mission is to create future doctors capable of saving lives.Under slavery and segregation, Black inferiority was used as a reason for bondage. Despite progress since the 1960s, leftist policies continue to shadow Black people.Today’s controversy arose from educators emphasizing DEI ideology to the point where skin color is prioritized over skill, even in a medical school.The worst part is the stigma against truly gifted Black students, unfairly questioned due to this controversy.DEI officers stigmatize Blacks heavily, making them constantly prove themselves against the inferiority label.This racism affects neighborhoods like the South Side of Chicago, where liberal policies perpetuate inferiority, hindering success.It's time for Black individuals to stand on their own feet and overcome these challenges.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM PASTOR COREY BROOKS
