Over the past fortnight, officers in Spring Hill have been lookin' into reports of unknown rascals walkin' up to homes in the wee hours and givin' the doors a mighty kick, causin' damage. Some doors even flew open from the impact!Both lads, who lived just a stone's throw away from the homes, admitted to their misdeeds. One of 'em blabbed that they were just following a trend they saw on social media called the "Door Kick Challenge" and had no plans to actually enter the homes. This foolishness has been spreadin' like wildfire on the TikTok app, with videos showin' folks kickin' doors late at night.Sheriff Al Nienhuis warned that this caper was mighty dangerous, as the boys could have been shot by a homeowner protectin' their property. The teens were arrested on four counts of burglary and handed over to their parents after bein' processed at the county slammer.
