Ahoy, me hearties! If it weren’t fer double standards, the scallywags in Albany would be adrift without a single standard o’ their own, especially when it comes to that fanciful “green” energy! Aye, word’s out that New York’s grand plans fer renewable energy be in tatters, showin’ a mighty gap between their lofty ambitions and the reality o’ execution.Back in the year o' 2019, they proclaimed they’d be sailin’ towards a 70% renewables target by 2030. But lo and behold! Reports show they be on course to barely hit 44%, a far cry from the desired shores! Now, Governor Hochul wants to push the deadline to 2033, thinkin' three more years will save their ship. But alas, even that be a fanciful dream.
