Arrr! John Aprea, the thespian of the silver screen, rose to glory in "The Godfather Part II," sailed through "Another World," and even dropped anchor in "Full House." This jolly matey departed our realm on August 5 at the ripe age of 83. Fair winds, ye old salty sea dog!

Ahoy, mateys! Gather 'round, for I bring tidings of a fine swashbuckler of the silver screen, John Aprea, who sailed into the great beyond at the ripe age of 83, just this past month. Aprea, known far and wide for playin’ the young Salvatore "Sal" Tessio in the famed "Godfather Part II," passed away of natural causes, a fate that befalls even the fiercest of buccaneers.

Born to Italian sea-farin' folk in Englewood, New Jersey, he made waves in the film world with his debut in the legendary "Bullitt." Our lad Aprea had a knack for crime sagas and soap operas alike, capturin’ hearts as Alexander Nikos in "Another World" and even playin' John Stamos' father in "Full House." Aye, and when he reprised that role in the Netflix sequel, "Fuller House," he showed he still had the spirit of adventure!

Notably, the lad sought wisdom from Abe Vigoda, the seasoned veteran who portrayed the older Tessio, who told him simply, “Just have a good time, kid.” And have a good time he did! He leaves behind his beloved wife, Betsy, along with a fine crew of children. So raise yer tankards high for John Aprea, a true treasure in the hearts of all who knew him! Arrr!
