"Arrr, matey David Marcus be sayin’ to Sen. Casey, ‘The ship’s sailed, Bob! It be over!’"

Arrr, matey! Ol' David Marcus sails to Bucks County, where landlubbers from both the Democrat and Republican crews be squawkin' that Sen. Bob Casey’s stubbornness be a right scurvy sight! Aye, even the parrot be shakin’ its head at that one!
Ahoy, me hearties! While I was sippin' me grog at the Penn Taproom, I chanced upon a lad named Michael. When he learned of me profession, he exclaimed, "What be ye doin' here? The election be over!" To which I quipped, "Aye, tell that to ol' Bob Casey!"In the fair land of Pennsylvania, the signs be down and the airwaves be free from political drivel, yet in Bucks County, one stubborn scallywag of a senator won’t let the matter die. Bob Casey, a true Keystone scion, be clingin' to the idea that there be still enough ballots to claim victory, despite the winds blowin' in favor of his foe, Sen.-elect Dave McCormick.
But hark! Election commissioners in these parts be tossin' the law aside like a moldy biscuit, countin' ballots the courts deemed unworthy. One commissioner, Diane, boldly declared, "Laws shmaws!" Aye, 'tis a merry band of rule-breakers! Even ol’ Casey, supported by a court of Democrats, finds himself sailin' against the tide.
As the night wore on, I met two Toms—one a Republican, the other a Democrat—both agreed it be high time for Casey to drop anchor and concede. It seems the folks of Doylestown are ready to move on, with nary a soul thinkin' the sky be fallin'. In this democracy, sometimes ye win, and sometimes ye lose, and whinin' won’t change the tides!
