Arrr, matey! Fox News Digital chatteth with Ahmed Yahia Dabbas, who regaled tales of his kin's wild voyage from Lebanon to a lawless land in northwest Syria! Aye, the scallywags be wrestlin' with the woes of bein' castaways, like fish outta water, seekin' treasure in a stormy sea!
Arrr mateys! Gather ‘round fer a tale of Ahmed Yahia Dabbas, a bold buccaneer who fled the stormy seas of Syria a decade past, escapin’ the cannon fire of that scallywag Bashar al-Assad and his Russian corsairs. He docked in Lebanon’s southern suburbs, workin’ as a doorman, and there he raised a crew of four young scallywags – two lads and two lassies – to the ripe ages of 4 to 9!But alas! When Israel unleashed its fury upon southern Beirut in September, Dabbas and his kin had no choice but to set sail back to the treacherous waters of Syria, leavin’ their home in tatters. Their journey was fraught with peril, traversin’ checkpoints manned by the Assad regime’s guards demandin’ gold doubloons for safe passage. After a harrowing five days, filled with beatings and empty bellies, they reached the rebel side of Aleppo, finally settlin’ in the northern countryside.
Yet, the seas be still choppy! With bombings echoing like thunder, Dabbas longs fer peace while his kin face the daily dangers of war. As winter approaches, the need fer aid grows, and the White Helmets, those brave souls, call on the world to heed their plight. So hoist the flag, me hearties, and let’s hope fer calmer waters soon!
