Arrr, matey! Word be flyin’ that an NBA sea hag of a ref confessed to Coach Nick Nurse, sayin’ she “blundered me way into Davy Jones’ locker” when poor Andre Drummond got the boot from Monday’s fracas. Aye, even the refs be makin’ fishy mistakes!
Ahoy there, mateys! Gather ‘round fer a tale of folly upon the hardwood seas of the NBA! During a clash between the gallant Philadelphia 76ers and the San Antonio Spurs, the fair referee Jenna Schroeder found herself in a right pickle, aye!In the second quarter, the burly Andre Drummond was sent to Davy Jones’ locker fer a foul on the young swashbuckler Victor Wembanyama. But lo and behold, after consultin' the magical replay, the wise referees reversed their course and called the big lad back, even as he swaggered off the plank!
“I f---ed up,” exclaimed Schroeder to the captain of the 76ers, Nick Nurse, like a captain confessin’ his navigational blunders. Instead of Drummond walkin' the plank, it was Wembanyama who took a hit fer a wee bit o' floppin’! As fate would have it, a point was snatched away like a thief in the night!
Wembanyama himself said it was naught but a trip, not a foul, whilst Nurse scratched his head over the whole shanty! Meanwhile, Joel Embiid, the towering giant, found himself in hot water, gettin’ ejected and nearly clashing with the fair referee.
In the end, the 76ers claimed victory over the Spurs, 111-106, but not without a hearty dose of chaos! Avast, what a game! Arrr!
