Arrr, the cap'n of Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, be showin' a video o' the attack and vowin' revenge fer the many a' his troops lost. The Russkie officials be denyin' any such attack, but we all know better, don't we mateys?

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder and leader of the mercenary group Wagner, accused Russia's defense ministry of authorizing an attack against his forces and threatened revenge. He claimed that his camp came under fire from a "massive" missile attack, which he said killed a "huge amount" of his troops at multiple camps. Prigozhin promised to punish "everyone" involved in the alleged attack against his forces. Russian military officials denied the accusations and called them an "informational provocation." Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that necessary measures were being taken. Prigozhin, who is seen as a top Putin ally, took issue with the Kremlin chief's comments about progress in Ukraine and accused him and the Ministry of Defense of misleading the Russian people. The FSB, Russia's domestic security service, has opened a criminal investigation into Prigozhin following his calling for a military rebellion. Rebekah Koffler, a Russian-born former DIA intelligence officer, stated that this has to be a major headache for Putin now. Russia's Tass news agency reported that the FSB public relations office called on Wagner troops to disregard Prigozhin's orders and to detain him. Prigozhin did not go into detail on where his troops had given up territory to Ukrainian forces. Ukraine earlier this week claimed progress in the vital Zaporizhzhia region, a claim substantiated by a Russian official in the area.
