"Arrr, me hearties! 'Tis been heard that Wagner's scurvy dog, Chief Veygeny Prigozhin, be settin' sail fer Belarus! Seems 'e's made a deal with ol' Vladimir Putin to keep the lads from marchin' on Moscow! Har har, let's see how this here tale plays out!"

Arrr, me hearties! The chief of the Wagner group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has been forced to halt his march towards Moscow and move to Belarus, thanks to a deal brokered by President Alexander Lukashenko. The announcement came after Wagner troops appeared to control the military headquarters in Rostov-on-Don, and equipment was also spotted in Lipetsk province. However, Prigozhin decided to turn his troops back, avoiding any bloodshed. Putin had previously vowed harsh consequences for those involved in the uprising led by Prigozhin, calling it a "betrayal" and "treason." It is not clear what concessions were made to persuade Prigozhin to halt his march. The Wagner Group, a private army led by Prigozhin, has been fighting alongside regular Russian troops in Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wagner troops who did not take part in the rebellion would sign contracts with Russia's defense ministry. Western analysts have warned that the crisis in Russia is far from over and that we should not be overly optimistic about regime change, as after Putin, we may see someone even more radical. The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report. Ye best be keeping an eye on these scallywags, for they be up to no good!
