Arr, the ol' Director o' National Intelligence be warnin' of a blimey 'cultural problem' in the DOJ, mateys!

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe appeared on "Sunday Morning Futures" to discuss the Hunter Biden probe and the handling of the investigation by the Department of Justice. Ratcliffe spoke with guest host Jason Chaffetz and pointed out the "disparity in treatment" by the DOJ, highlighting a "cultural problem" within the institution.

Ratcliffe mentioned the case of Hunter Biden's laptop, which he believes was amplified with lies by the DOJ. He stated that the laptop clearly showed information that is now being verified by whistleblowers, as well as House Republicans who are working to obtain the relevant documents. Despite the obvious evidence, Ratcliffe criticized the lack of felony recommendations in the gun and tax crimes against Hunter Biden, as well as the case involving classified documents against Senator Joe Biden. He pointed out that possession of classified documents by senators and congressmen is not authorized, making the case against Senator Biden easy to prove. However, no action has been taken by the special counsel appointed by the Biden administration in that case.

Ratcliffe emphasized the disparity in treatment within the DOJ and suggested that simply replacing the attorney general and the FBI director would not be enough. He called for a thorough examination and addressing of the cultural problem that has existed since Eric Holder's tenure as attorney general, where partisans were embedded throughout the FBI and the Department of Justice. Ratcliffe warned that this is not a small problem but a widespread cultural issue that needs to be addressed by the next president.
