Ahoy, mateys! Gather 'round, fer I be tellin' ye a tale of a fine sea dog named John Fife, who hath reached the grand age of 100 years! Born in the fair city of Edinburgh, he served as a brave airman in World War II, flingin’ his cannonballs from the skies as a wireless operator and air gunner. On the 26th of December, 2024, he celebrated his centennial with not one, but two grand shindigs, one with kin and the other with good pals at Coleridge Court.

This salty sea dog be singin’ the praises of the mighty smartphone, callin’ it a wondrous invention of his lifetime! With a twinkle in his eye, he shared his secrets to livin’ long and healthy: “Set yer sights on a goal each mornin', be it a stroll or a good churchin’, and don’t forget to lend a hand to those in need!” He be havin’ a jolly good time doin’ jigsaws and makin’ fresh mates since settlin’ in Coleridge Court, where he found himself surrounded by fine company.
