Gather 'round fer a tale of a plumber, David Dunn be his name, who stumbled upon a hoard o' ancient treasures whilst wanderin' through a pasture on a fine summer's day in jolly ol' England. On July 19, he unearthed 50 shiny coins from the days of Ancient Rome, right near his humble abode in Sapcote, Leicestershire!As fate would have it, this scallywag took up the fine art of metal detectin' just this year, seekin' fresh air 'n adventure after long days fixin' pipes. With his trusty Deus 2 metal detector in hand, he ventured into a familiar field. A faint signal caught his attention, and, lo and behold! He struck gold—or rather, silver—when he discovered his first Roman coin along with another in the same hole!
With excitement pumpin' through his veins, David called upon the local farmer and commenced diggin'. To his amazement, diggin' down to two feet revealed a treasure trove of 50 coins minted from the likes of Emperor Carausius. Though these relics could fetch a handsome bounty at auction, David's heart be not set on riches, but rather on the thrill of history itself.
