Avast ye landlubbers! The seas be churnin’ with the most torrential rains to besiege Southern California in a year’s time, ye see! A true deluge, me hearties, unleashed a torrent of floodin’, debris flows, and mudslides that trapped fine vessels—er, I mean cars—and turned pathways into rivers! Aye, the roads be lookin’ like a pirate’s treasure map, full of perilous detours!But lo and behold! The areas scorched by savage wildfires be spared from this watery onslaught, as if Poseidon himself be watchin’ over 'em.
