Avast ye, mateys! A scallywag from Delaware didst sink his teeth into a fine police dog, not once, but multiple times, whilst tryin' to escape the clutches of the law. 'Twas all 'cause he be sailin' too fast on a fine Saturday mornin'.
A 17th-century pirate would surely find humor in the tale of a drunken Delaware man who found himself in a sticky situation with the law. This scallywag, by the name of Jamal Wing, was causing quite a ruckus in the wee hours of the morning. It all started when State Police caught wind of his speedy escapades on the highway. They promptly pulled him over in a Wilmington parking lot, only to have Wing jump out of his Toyota Camry without so much as a peep from the officers. Ignoring their commands like a true rebel, he resisted arrest with all his might. But that was not all, me hearties! When a brave K9 officer joined the fray, Wing sank his teeth into the poor canine in a desperate attempt to evade capture.Despite his valiant efforts, the troopers eventually managed to subdue Wing, but not without a fight. The officers detected the unmistakable scent of alcohol on his breath and observed signs of impairment. It seems this pirate was sailing through the night under the influence. However, his misadventure did not end there. Upon arriving at the hospital for treatment, Wing's escape instincts kicked in once more. He assaulted a trooper, causing injury and damage to police property. This buccaneer was clearly determined to go down fighting.
As a result of his antics, Wing earned himself a long list of charges, including assaulting a police officer, assaulting a law enforcement animal, driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and various other offenses. Currently, he finds himself behind bars at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, with a hefty $34,200 cash bond keeping him company. Perhaps this tale will serve as a cautionary tale to all who dare follow in Wing's footsteps and attempt to defy the law.
