According to the Yarmouth Police Department, an officer noticed a vehicle that appeared to be disabled and approached it. The woman driver was outside the car, visibly scared and upset, and she explained to the officer what had happened. She claimed that she did not notice anything unusual after leaving her friend's house, but suddenly saw a man hiding in the back seat with a coat pulled over his head. Frightened, she started driving erratically and the man fell out of the open rear door. The motive for this incident remains unclear.
