Arrr! A mighty heap be fallin' in Jersey! Six scallywags be feelin' the sting of the wreckage!

In a most unfortunate turn of events, a building did crumble at a housing complex in Newark, New Jersey, leaving six poor souls injured and three apartments completely obliterated. The valiant Newark Police and firefighters, bless their souls, hastened to the scene of the calamity at the Newark Housing Authority property on South Pine Lane, around the hour of 6 p.m.
Alas, the incident caused six casualties, one of whom suffered grave injuries, as reported by Fox 5 NY. Five of the victims were swiftly transported to the hospital, while one stubbornly refused medical attention. The wretched soul with grave injuries was whisked away to the burn unit at Saint Barnabas Hospital, officials disclosed.
Truly heart-wrenching, thirteen families were forcibly displaced from their humble abodes due to the collapse. They have now been relocated to hotels, where they shall be provided sustenance, while investigators rummage through the debris at the property funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The kind Red Cross, I must add, has also offered their assistance at the scene.
Mayor Ras Baraka, bless his noble heart, expressed his empathy for the displaced residents at a news conference, exclaiming, "It's a traumatic event. I spoke to a few residents who have obviously been displaced because of this. The city is being fully supportive of the Housing Authority to make sure we can provide what we can." He further added, "These residents will not be able to come back to this property until we can make an assessment that it is in fact safe."
Witnesses within the building could feel the reverberation of the collapse trembling through their floors and walls, while windows were propelled nearly a hundred feet from their rightful places, as reported by Fox 5 NY. Shards of glass were scattered across the parking lot of the ill-fated edifice.
Director Fritz Frage of Newark Public Safety disclosed at the news conference that gas to the complex had been shut off for investigation into the cause of the collapse. Alas, officials were unable to confirm whether the damage was the result of a gas explosion. Oh, the cruel uncertainty of it all!
