John Kerry, President Joe Biden’s climate envoy, recently traveled to China in an attempt to revive joint efforts between the US and China to tackle climate change. However, this is just another example of the Biden administration's weak foreign policy towards the Chinese Communist Party. China is taking advantage of Biden officials, as Kerry is the third administration official in the past month to visit Beijing with hopes of a friendly response, only to come back empty-handed. The administration is desperate to get China on board with Biden's radical green agenda, even if it means suffering humiliation. Kerry has a history of promoting climate hysteria and doom, and the Biden administration's approach is only strengthening China's dominance and undermining America's energy security. While the US is demanding the purchase of expensive electric cars and reliance on zero-carbon energy, China, the leading producer of these products, uses its dominance to manipulate global markets. Furthermore, China has been building more coal-fired plants while the US shuts them down, leading to a growing gap in carbon footprints. China will make deceitful promises to appease Biden and Kerry, who are willing to embrace them despite China's lack of commitment. The Biden-Kerry climate agenda is eliminating America's advantage of affordable, reliable energy, while China's economy grows with no regard for emissions. Kerry's out-of-touch attitude includes lamenting that pension funds aren't investing in uneconomic green investments, not realizing that most Americans prioritize earning the highest returns. The Biden administration's approach to climate change weakens America and makes it more dependent. Kerry needs to recognize China's intent for global domination, and the administration should focus on encouraging a diverse range of energy sources to make energy in America as clean as possible without burdening American families with high costs.
