An 84-year-old grandmother in Los Angeles was allegedly attacked on a bus this week, resulting in serious injuries. Security footage of the incident showed the woman being shoved or kicked out of the bus, causing her to fly out and hit her head on the sidewalk. The suspect then attempted to run away while the victim lay unconscious on the sidewalk, but good Samaritans intervened and held her until the police arrived. Witnesses stated that the attack was unprovoked, and the suspect even spat on the woman after pushing her out.One witness described how the woman was pushed out of the bus and smacked into the concrete. Another witness revealed that a man walking by pretended to help her, but actually tried to steal her purse. Fortunately, two other locals came to her rescue and took the purse back. While some witnesses claimed that she was shoved, another witness insisted that she was kicked with full force off the bus, causing her to hit the floor violently.
The unidentified suspect has been arrested, and her charges are pending. The victim's family expressed their outrage at the malicious and intentional act, stating that it was sickening. The grandmother only remembers parts of the incident and is in a lot of pain.
